In 2020, Wilmington Alliance created WilmingtonMADE, which started as an online directory of Wilmington small businesses, to promote shopping local and small.
Once added to the directory, business will receive a weekly WilmingtonMADE e-blast listing resources, events and funding opportunities just for entrepreneurs.
Back End Support Services for Small Businesses
Back end operations are essential for any business to function. Examples include administration, accounting, personnel (HR or human resources), systems, document handling, automation and communications data processing.
Eligible entrepreneurs will be connected to a member of Wilmington Alliance's team who will assess your needs and if approved, connect you to an approved vendor who will provide the services to the business.
Applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Must be a Wilmington based business operating for one year or more.
Marketing Support for Small Businesses
Entrepreneurs located in the city of Wilmington can apply for marketing professional services. If selected, entrepreneurs can receive one of the following:

Professional Photography: of business, products and/or business owner.

Custom Promotional Merchandise Package - Based on business need our provider will curate and produce promotional merchandise such as pens, bags, printed items — small and large — from cards and stickers to banners and larger signage events, trade shows and more.
